Daisies and butterflies,
Clouds and rainbows,
Oceans and reefs,
Waves splashing over my feet.
A beautiful shell holds me inside;
I want to touch it,
Because it seems so tangible.
Everything that I could never see,
But everyone else could,
Is now accessible to me!
I can know who I am
Through nature's own mirror.
I am a summer rainbow,
I am a porcelain queen,
I am exactly who
I was destined to be.
I am a lamp in the darkness,
A halo sits above me,
Just out of my reach.
Someday I will find my way;
I will make the sky my crown,
My footstool is the ocean spray.
Still, I will be a wise ruler,
I will not be like those before me.
I will feed the hungry,
And I will be kind to all.
I am yet to understand
How humankind can be so cruel.
But with the trees as my guards,
And the rocks as my castle,
I will be safe from repercussions.
I will fight the war
Against the evil forces,
And I will help spread love to all.
