Your poems are collected in your own online page where you decide which poems are published and which are not. It is best to use your pen name as your membership name.

 

Sharing

You can share your poems with your friends, or with everyone.  You can link to your poems here from Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.

Update

We moderate all posts and that adds a delay. If you join and you are not living in New Zealand, you are likely to have to pass our Editor's little test of your Kiwi Credibility. We also hope to be able to stop off-subject material/spam. Let me know if I miss one or let someone in who does not fit the criteria.

We are inviting a limited number of new poets to apply to join this site.

It is required that you will contribute. Any accounts left dormant and/or without a photo are in danger of being removed.

Requirements
  • a valid email addresses (sorry but we are unable to accept anonymous Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo email addresses at this time, unless confirmed by your original email to The Editor).
  • Members are limited to 150 people, so now there are qualifications and accounts that do not meet these will be declined/expired:
  • Is a New Zealander (living in NZ or overseas)
  • write poetry and share (original works only).
  • understands that to get more people to read your work a photo seen by readers significantly helps them to identify with your work.

If you want to nominate a member to be featured, then emaileditor@newzealandpoetry.org to feature another user, or nominate your self .

Simply add new poems whenever you want. As long as they follow the basic guidelines, they will appear after moderation.

Your page on this site, its design and content is completely up to you. This is a family friendly site and a growing social network of everyday people who write New Zealand Poetry. This site is for you to share with your friends and family, plus other poets. Use it however you want. There is no editing of your work.

Your site host encourages you to comment, use the forum to discuss new ideas and focus attention on New Zealand poetry to the world via this site.

All poets are requested to link their page to their social media pages to help promote their poetry.
