Welcome to the New Zealand Poetry.org social network. New Zealanders create their own poetry page and post their poems here.

Member have their own page at NewZealandPoetry.org. What you post is up to you, but we advise a selection of recent poems or your signature works. And add new poems whenever you want. Your page on this site, its design and content is completely up to you. This is a family friendly site.

We are a growing social network of everyday people who write New Zealand Poetry. This site is for you to share with your friends and family, plus other poets. Use it however you want. There is no editor, each poet represents themselves on this site.

Your site host encourages you to comment, use the forum to discuss new ideas and embrace the New Zealand poetry world via this site. All poets are requested to link their page to their social media pages to help promote their poetry.

The words, particularly in the last stanza, are very soft and create a sense of dreaming, the rhyme is effortless. It feels very French!
